Travel Grants to Reno 2019
The Western Division of the American Fisheries Society is pleased to offer funding in the form of travel grants for the annual meeting in Reno, Nevada to be held September 29-October 3, 2019.
These travel grants are for Students, Early Career Professionals (graduated since May, 2014), Professionals, Emeritus, International, and members of underrepresented minority (URM) groups (Diversity & Inclusion). Please review criteria before applying. Applicants will only be eligible for one travel grant, please do not apply to multiple categories or multiple times, except as identified below.
Grants will be awarded at the discretion of the WDAFS Executive Committee and may or may not cover the amount requested. Maximum amount per awarded grant will be $750(USD) (minimum $350(USD)). The maximum budgets for each category of award are: Student $5,000, Early Career Professional $1,500, Professional $1,500, Emeritus $500, International $1,500, and Diversity and Inclusion $1,500.
Applications will be accepted from February 1 to March 1, 2019. Winners will be notified by April 1, 2019.
