LOGO COMPETITION – TIME TO REVISE THE WESTERN DIVISION AFS LOGO!
Please submit your designs to President@wdafs.org by July 15, 2023!
Once logos are received, we conduct a survey of the membership to come up with the final selection. The artist of the selected logo will receive a prize.
Goal: Update the Western Division AFS logo to incorporate the new AFS logo while capturing elements unique to western North America and the Pacific Islands.
Guidelines:
1. Preserve the AFS logo
2. Use fonts from the AFS logo – Gabo Drive & Arial Narrow
3. Keep AFS colors for the AFS logo
4. Some complimentary color palettes include:
5. Do not twist or distort the AFS logo
6. Do not overwrite the AFS logo with text or images
AFS Tips for creating a good logo:
- Logos are the first thing members will see, its important to have a meaningful logo
- Keep it simple
- Think about how the logo will look on social media platforms, letterhead, websites, and merchandise
