The membership has spoken, and the logo competition is complete!

There was some stiff competition, but the selected logo had the edge. The artist who designed the new logo is Emily Chen. Emily is a PhD student at University of California Berkeley and the chair of the WDAFS Diversity & Inclusion Committee. The logo was intended to depict the role of WDAFS carrying out the mission of the American Fisheries Society in the western region. The W and D’s colors and design represents the region’s spawn from the mountains to the sea.
